Paperborn Pegasus

I sketched him a couple of months ago and started working on the digital lines as August began, then struggled with a couple of areas and - after drawing his left eye - left it alone until this Friday. 

Stayed the hay away from purple for him because with this mane/tail style he'd easily drift into a Twilight-looking direction.

I digi-drew him directly on the scanned sketch and when I was done I realized how wonderfully the paper worked with the color scheme I ended up with. Which is why I simply edited out the parts of the pencil sketch that were partly bleeding out from behind him and kept the paper as the background instead of improvising some random crap.
