Character Concept 80

I sketched her in May 2011 when her hair was one wavy mess. I brought some sense into it and refined her outfit a bit, so now she's presentable.
So far I've only given very few characters black hair because it has always been such a pain to shade because I usually used almost pitch black, so there was no way to go darker with the shading... That was mostly because those drawings were fanarts of black-haired characters who didn't have shading in in the original and I wanted to use the exact color they used in the show... can't have accuracy and shading at the same time, lol. So those experiences kinda left that rejection in my subconscious. I hope I can break with that from now on because I love how this dark hair looks on her.
